At MOD Shop LLC, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your order, we're here to help. Please read our return and refund policy carefully.

Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return most items for a refund or exchange. Items must be returned within this timeframe to be eligible for a refund.

Eligibility for Returns

Items That Can Be Returned

To be eligible for a return, items must:

  • Be in new, unused, and resalable condition
  • Be in original packaging with all tags, labels, and protective materials intact
  • Include all accessories, manuals, and documentation that came with the product
  • Not be damaged or altered in any way

Items That Cannot Be Returned

For hygiene, safety, and legal reasons, the following items are final sale and cannot be returned:

  • Opened trading card booster packs, boxes, or cases (sealed products may be returned if unopened)
  • Comic books that have been graded or removed from protective cases
  • Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Clearance"
  • Digital products or gift cards
  • Personalized or custom-made items
  • Items showing signs of use, wear, or damage

How to Initiate a Return

Step 1: Contact Us

Before returning any item, please contact us to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number:

Please provide:

  • Your order number
  • Item(s) you wish to return
  • Reason for return
  • Photos (if applicable for damaged or defective items)

Step 2: Receive Your RMA Number

We will review your request and provide you with an RMA number within 1-2 business days. Do not return items without an RMA number, as we cannot process returns without proper authorization.

Step 3: Package Your Return

  • Place items in their original packaging when possible
  • Include a copy of your order confirmation or packing slip
  • Clearly write your RMA number on the outside of the package
  • Securely pack the items to prevent damage during shipping

Important Shipping Notes:

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a defective product
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method
  • We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit
  • Keep your tracking number as proof of return

Refund Process

Inspection and Processing

Once we receive your return:

  1. We will inspect the item(s) to ensure they meet our return eligibility criteria
  2. If approved, we will process your refund within 5-7 business days
  3. You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed

Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase:

  • Credit/Debit Card: Refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days after processing
  • PayPal: Refunds typically appear within 3-5 business days after processing
  • Other Payment Methods: Processing times vary by provider

Refund Amount

  • Standard Returns: You will receive a refund for the purchase price of the item(s) minus original shipping costs
  • Defective or Damaged Items: You will receive a full refund including original shipping costs
  • Our Error: You will receive a full refund including original shipping costs

Restocking Fee:
A restocking fee of 15% may apply to:

  • Returns of large or heavy items (e.g., large collectible sets)
  • Items returned without original packaging
  • Returns made after 30 days but before 45 days (at our discretion)

The restocking fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

Original Shipping Costs

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless:

  • The return is due to our error (wrong item shipped)
  • The item arrived damaged or defective
  • You received a promotional code for free shipping

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. If you would like a different item:

  1. Return the original item following our return process
  2. Place a new order for the item you want

This ensures you get the product you want as quickly as possible.

Damaged or Defective Items

Reporting Damage

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery:

Please Provide:

  • Order number
  • Description of the damage or defect
  • Clear photos showing the issue
  • Photos of the packaging (if damaged in transit)

Resolution Options

For damaged or defective items, we will offer:

  1. Full refund including original shipping costs
  2. Replacement item shipped at no additional cost
  3. Partial refund if you wish to keep a slightly damaged item

We will provide a prepaid return label for damaged or defective items. You will not be responsible for return shipping costs.

Wrong Item Shipped

If we shipped the wrong item:

  • Contact us immediately
  • We will provide a prepaid return label
  • We will ship the correct item at no additional cost
  • You will receive a full refund of any price difference (if applicable)

Order Cancellations

Before Shipment

You may cancel your order before it ships by:

  • Providing your order number

If your order has not yet shipped, we will cancel it and issue a full refund.

After Shipment

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled. You may refuse delivery or return the item following our standard return process.

Collectible Items & Graded Comics

Special Considerations

For high-value collectibles and graded comics:

  • Items must be returned in the exact condition received
  • Original protective cases and grading certificates must be included
  • Additional authentication may be required for items over $500
  • Special shipping requirements may apply

Authenticity Guarantee

All autographed items and graded collectibles come with a certificate of authenticity. If you believe an item is not authentic, contact us immediately. We will investigate and provide a full refund if the item is found to be counterfeit.

Pre-Orders

Return Policy for Pre-Orders

Pre-ordered items follow our standard return policy once they are delivered. However:

  • Pre-orders can be canceled before the item ships
  • Once a pre-order ships, it follows the standard return process
  • Deposits on pre-orders are refundable until the item ships

International Returns

For international orders:

  • Standard return policy applies
  • You are responsible for return shipping costs and any customs fees
  • Items must be returned to our U.S. address
  • Refunds will be issued in USD at the original exchange rate

We understand that special circumstances arise. If you have a situation not covered by this policy, please contact us. We will do our best to work with you on a case-by-case basis.
