Beyblade X Shelter Drake 5-70O — BX Booster Pack

A pure endurance build, and the cheapest way into the Shelter Drake blade.

This is a right-spin Stamina Type from the Basic Line. The Shelter Drake blade is protective by design at 40 Defense against 25 Attack and 35 Stamina — built to deflect incoming hits rather than initiate them. The 5-70 ratchet carries five identical protrusions at 7.0mm, giving a mid-height stance with balanced weight distribution.

The endurance comes from the O (Orb) Bit: 50 Stamina and 30 Defense with deliberately low 10 Dash. Orb uses a ball tip similar to the older Ball (B) bit but with a smaller contact patch against the stadium floor — less friction, which translates directly into higher stamina and better knock-out resistance. The hemispherical shape lets the top ride out hits by rocking rather than tipping.

Worth knowing if you already own the Shelter Drake 7-80GP starter: same blade, completely different top. That version is a Balance Type; this one is Stamina. The ratchet and bit do all the work of reclassifying it — which is exactly the lesson the Beyblade X system is built around.
