Flames of War: Blitzkrieg — Early War Starter Set

France, 1940. Two opposing forces in one box.

Where the Late War sets are about thick armor and big guns, Blitzkrieg is about speed. You're commanding tanks across early-war France, racing through villages and rolling countryside to outflank the enemy — or standing firm and letting armor and firepower turn the tide. Every clash is a test of nerve: swift strikes, desperate defences, heroic stands.

The box gives you both sides. Three British Light tanks against two German Panzer 38(t)s at 1:100 (15mm) scale — fast, lightly armored vehicles where positioning decides everything and a bad flank exposure ends a tank immediately. It's a more tactical, more forgiving introduction than late-war armor duels, because nothing in the box can simply tank a hit and shrug it off.

The "Start Here" booklet walks a first-time player through their opening games without needing the full rulebook. Assemble, train, engage.
