Battlefield in a Box exists to solve the problem every wargamer knows: you have an army painted and nowhere to fight over. Galactic Warzones is Gale Force Nine's sci-fi range, and the Rebel Outpost subset builds an icy-planet defensive installation piece by piece.

The Shield Generator is the centerpiece. Despite what the box front suggests, this isn't one dome — it's a complete three-section installation spanning 12 inches, with two end domes flanked around a central section and joined by two connector couplings. Assembled, it stands 3½ inches tall and dominates a table the way a real objective should.

Why the magnets matter

Thirty-two magnets is a lot for a terrain kit, and it's the design decision that makes this piece worth owning. The sections connect and reconfigure without glue — run all three in a line, split them across the table as separate objectives, or combine with other Rebel Outpost sets to build a sprawling base. Break it down flat for storage and rebuild it differently next game.
