Every Zerg player learns the same lesson sooner or later: the swarm lives or dies by its Queen. In the StarCraft Tabletop Miniatures Game, the Queen does the same job she does in the RTS. She spreads creep across the battlefield and produces the larvae that become the rest of your army. When the fighting reaches her, she keeps your forces alive with her mending abilities.

This expansion set gives you one Queen miniature with a full kit of gameplay pieces. Eight sculpted plastic Creep Tumor tokens let you mark the swarm's spread across the table. A Queen Burrow token tracks her when she goes underground. Her unit card and two Tactical Cards give you everything you need to add her to your army list right away.

The model is a large, many-limbed centerpiece. Her glowing egg sacs are cast in clear green plastic, so they look alive on the table even before you pick up a brush. The Two Player Starter Set already includes one Queen. Adding a second one lets you spread creep and produce larvae from more than one place, which is a big part of how Zerg control the board.
