The Warhammer 40,000 Tyranid Warriors set is a multipart plastic kit that builds three Tyranid Warriors — the most adaptable mid-sized bioforms of the Hive Mind — and it's one of the most customizable kits in the entire Tyranids range. Acting as living relays for the Hive Mind's will, Warriors keep the lesser broods around them coordinated and deadly, fighting just as effectively up close as at range thanks to an enormous arsenal of bio-weapon symbiotes.

On the tabletop, Tyranid Warriors are a versatile battleline brood that anchors the center of a swarm, holds objectives, and extends the all-important Synapse range that keeps your smaller creatures fighting at full effectiveness. Because the kit arms them for either melee or ranged bio-weapons, you can build exactly the unit your army needs — a clawed assault brood or a fire-support brood that softens the enemy before the swarm crashes home. And with the included Tyranid Prime option, you can field a leader to make your Warriors hit even harder.

For hobbyists, this is a fantastic kit to paint and pose. The three distinct dynamic poses, four head/face options, and the sheer volume of weapon and bio-detail choices mean no two broods need look alike — and the organic chitin surfaces are a rewarding canvas for layered hive-fleet color schemes.

What's in the box

  • 89 plastic components to build 3 Tyranid Warriors, or 2 Tyranid Warriors and a Tyranid Prime
  • Supplied unpainted and requires assembly — we recommend Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints

Build & weapon options

  • A staggering weapon selection, with every combination available on the frame: 3 pairs of lash whips, 3 pairs of spinefists, 3 devourers, 3 pairs of rending claws, 3 pairs of scything talons, 3 deathspitters, 3 pairs of boneswords, a venom cannon, a barbed strangler, and 3 pairs of flesh hooks
  • Arm the brood for melee bio-weapons or ranged bio-weapons depending on the role you want them to play
  • Build the third model as a Tyranid Prime — with a unique chest plate, head and crest, shoulder guards, and an optional scythed tail
  • Adrenal glands and toxic sacs to upgrade the whole unit, plus four different faces to add character to each model

Who this kit is for

Tyranids players building toward a battleline core and reliable Synapse coverage, collectors who value a kit that builds multiple loadouts (and a leader), and painters who love organic, alien forms with plenty of customization. The melee-or-ranged flexibility plus the Tyranid Prime option make this a smart, repeatable purchase as your hive fleet grows.
